Rick’s Experience
A pivotal part of Rick’s growth in his faith began at the discernment to leave college after one year to be a NET Missionary. During his years with NET, Rick grew in his prayer life, which led to growth in his musical talents as he traveled around the country leading retreats for youth. He later took the position of Liturgy Coordinator in Indiana where he led choirs and continued to refine his musical skills, eventually even teaching himself how to play piano. As his faith grew, his knowledge of traditional and Latin hymnody also grew. He continued to lead contemporary praise and worship, lead music for Mass, weddings and funerals during his 6.5 years as a Liturgy Coordinator. Even though he has moved away from his former position, Rick still loves and is passionate about leading others in prayer through music but now, alongside his wife.
Delaine’s Experience
After being away from the church for a couple of years, Delaine’s faith was rekindled through an invitation to join the worship band for the youth and young adult Mass at her home parish at the beginning of her college career. She dove into learning about the Catholic faith and fell in love with praise and worship. The more and more she led music alongside her friends, the more and more her musical skills were refined. She continued to learn how to play guitar and piano, and soon after began leading praise and worship events on her own. Once she graduated college, she took up the position of Youth Music Coordinator at a local parish in her home state of California, where she grew in faith and her talents for four years. Although she no longer holds a music coordinator position, Delaine loves to now lead others in prayer through praise and worship alongside her husband.
You can book us individually or as a duo to lead contemporary praise & worship for Eucharistic Adoration or to lead music for Mass, weddings, or funerals! Both of us play piano and guitar, can cantor, and can lead traditional & Latin hymnody as well.
