Lenten Reflections: A Creative Way to Reflect This Lent

Hello friends,

I have come up with a list of “lenty” words that I alongside possibly you can reflect on every day this Lenten season. Inspired by some artists on social media doing a drawing a day during October, I thought, what a fun and creative way to dive into Lent accompanied by the daily readings to draw closer to our Lord during this intimate season. Whether you’re an artist that wants to do a drawing a day or a poet who wants to write a poem a day or a photographer who wants to take a photo everyday or just anyone who just wants to chew on a word everyday. This list is for you.

Here, I’ve included the list of all 46 days, from Ash Wednesday to the end of the Triduum (and yes, I know Triduum is a separate season but I included it anyway).

As I’ve mentioned, all of these words are words taken from either the daily readings that follow this year’s readings for Mass and/or have “lenty” feels to it.

I pray that through this list of reflections, you and I both, and whomever may join us will find ourselves at the feet of our Lord this Lent, falling deeper in love and adoration with him.

May God bless you and keep you.
